Before Sunday tell me about something you have been reading. Since we are still practicing with the dictionary let's look up some words again!

2. Author
3. Tell me about the book in 2 or more sentences.
4. Pick 3 words from the book and write the dictionary definition.
Remember it does not have to be a book. It can be an article from a magazine, newspaper or a website. It can even be a brochure, menu, pamphlet, contest form, or a recipe.

ReplyDeleteHey, I just finashed one of my books! The Haunted Hotel! havn't I told you about it? Well anyway, it was a great book (by Ron Roy) it was about this wonderful couple that got hired to scare all the people out of the Shangri-la hotel, but the people who hired them were trying to own the hotel and buy it from Mr. Linkletter for 3 years! The couple didn't Know most of this. But they took the job because they were actors and they wanted to do something cool. they thought Mr. linkletter (the hotel owner) knew they were acters but he didn't, there's one BIG mystery can Josh, Ruth Rose, and Dink fix it? Dictionary words: haunted: to inhabit, visit or appear in the form of a ghost or other supernatural being. mystery: something not fully understood. hired: to engage the services of a person for a fee.
